Avoid Bad Hire: Spot Interview Red Flags
The last tech you hired didn’t know how to take x-rays.
In the interview, they were seemingly perfect.
You didn’t catch the lack in their experience until it disrupted your team, muddled up patient care, and cost you time and money.
You need to spot the hiring red flags before it’s too late.
I know how hard that can be, especially since HR isn’t your expertise.
So here are some examples of red flags that I watch out for in interviews.
Vague Experience Timelines: If candidates can’t clearly articulate the length and depth of their experience, it’s a warning sign. Look for those who confidently mention managing day-long, week-long, or month-long tasks.
Lack of Thoughtful Answers: Pay attention to how they respond to your questions. If their answers seem unprepared or lack detail, this can indicate a lack of genuine interest in the job.
Poor Communication: If they struggle to give direct answers or communicate clearly, this can lead to misunderstandings and inefficiencies in your team.
Don’t let the wrong hire disrupt your practice.
